SOIL-very well draining soils avoid extremely lean, heavily fertilized, or soggy soils. (neutral, alkaline)

TEMP/HUMIDITY-best in hot/dry weather will tolerate a little humidity but will survive temperatures below zero although if exposed to freezing temperatures for a prolonged period of time it will die but will come back in the spring under mild conditions as it is an evergreen.

This plant may produce beautiful yellow blossoms but are regularly removed to help the plant focus on growing more foliage rather than flowers.
